Yeah, but if I had to pick, I'd go with the rear wheel. :D

That line distills LD riding into a single sentence.

Does anyone know if any route details , like the bonus list is public?

I was thinking of keeping an eye on the SPOT trackers and trying to hang out near a bonus to hand out waters if possible.

    Bonus list is NOT public.

SPOT track is delayed a varied amount and is typically 20-30 minutes, just to discourage that exact activity, due to issues in the past.

Got a rider at the WD-40 headquarters in San Diego. Guess that's an innovation.

Bonus lists are often released to the public AFTER the event is over.

Leg One bonus list will be released to the public, memory says that's usually shortly after Leg Two starts. Leg Two bonus list gets released after Leg Three starts.

Remember, the rally is for the riders, not for us spectators.

And they are on the clock.

When I rallied I wasn't interested in having some stranger come up and want to chat with me at a bonus location. You may mean well, but let them ride their rally in peace.

If you want to wander about and drool over the bikes, go to a checkpoint and do it. But know that even there they are focused on a list of things they need to get done and then get some sleep. I "crewed" for a rider a few years ago at an IBR checkpoint, and they came in, told me what they needed to do, I helped per the rules, and they went to bed and I left.

Maybe it was posted on the IBA group on FB. I don't see anything on the rally site.
