The Carmel, IN info was in one of the daily reports by the Scribe. Not sure about the Huntsville, AL information.

Do we know what time riders are due at Carmel, IN checkpoint? I'm looking at the spotwala and thinking a bunch of riders might not make it. There are still riders in Oregon, New Mexico, Texas and deep into Florida.

In the past, check-in opens at 5:00 pm, penalties start at 8:00 pm, and the check-in closes at 10:00 pm, after which riders are time barred, resulting in a DNF.

No auxiliary tank so I'll give him a pass. :loco

If he pulls this off (and he's very capable of doing that) could he be the last 2-smoker to finish?

Someone made Buffalo by 9pm yesterday. That’s 2000 miles in 33 hours.

The thing about the IBR is that it forces you to adjust your frame of reference

Edit: that IS a long way from burns, OR - but it’s 2020 miles, mostly west of the Mississippi, and whoever that is is at a hotel now so they’re fresh, clean, and ready. Better them than me tho

The bike is the weak link here... not the rider.

If any help is needed at Carmel tomorrow I'd love an excuse to leave work.

Also, pretty sure I just drove by a rider here in Fort Wayne.

If on West Jefferson, then you did see an IBR contestant.
edit that I forgot about the delay on the SpotWalla page so could have been another street.

Is there a key somewhere that will tell us what number goes with what rider on SpotWalla?

There is no key and the numbers change with each update.

If the RM wants to make it difficult, The block island wind farm is the first commercial offshore wind farm in the US, that could fit the theme.

I have a pretty good guess for CT, we'll see if they make it up here, I suspect they may during leg 2.
