    2021 K1600GT production stopped?

I contacted my BMW dealer and wanted to order a 2021 K1600GT Sport. He got started and was told by BMW that the 2021 GT would not be built. When I look at the BMW website, the 3 other K models are all listed as 2021 models. The GT is still presented as 2020 model.

Anyone else know if the 2021 GT production has been halted?

The good news is that I found and purchased a new 2020 model. I like the gray/silver frame and chassis colors better than the black in 2021.

Maybe they have 2020 stock to get rid of before releasing 2021 models, but it seems there will eventually be a 2021 K1600GT:
    https://www.press.bmwgroup.com/glob...-measures-for-the-model-year-2021?language=en

    BMW K 1600 GT.
    • New paint finish Option 719 Mineral White metallic. Option 719 Stardust metallic and Option 719 Blueplanet metallic/Ivory are dropped.
    • Frame and engine in black for all colour versions.
    • Reversing aid and adaptive turning light are now standard.
    • Tyre pressure control RDC and daylight running light are now standard.
    • New optional equipment: Engine protection bars.
    • New optional equipment: Changes to tour package content. Expanded to include LED auxiliary headlights and engine protection bars, reversing aid is dropped.
    • Safety package is dropped.
The BMW web site still shows lots of the 2020 models, but I really doubt that means they will be dropped for 2021. There has already been a lot of publicity for the 2021 RT changes, but it is not yet shown as available.

Bumping this thread to see if any info on OP topic.

Motorrad website still shows the 2020 GT only and it is now April. 2021's K1600s are in the dealers save the GT. I only see the 2020 GT available and those seem limited in availability.

K1600 bikes are euro4. Due to corona, manufacturers are allowed to sell off euro4 bikes that are in still in stock. After that, only euro5 bikes are allowed for sale. So you can expect a Euro5 updated K1600 somewhere this year in Europe. Don't know what they will do in the US though.

Go Orange Dutchie! Thanks for the insight. That makes sense. Since CdnGS showed the website in Canada with 2021, it is just a matter of time. I would hate to see the GT leave the market--it is such a beast.
