Had my first oops with my KLX. While exploring around I managed to squeeze myself down a dead end path. While struggling to get the bike turned around I managed to snag the blinker and rip it off. Forunately it is a break away design, only one screw and it's good as new!

I adjusted the headlight down a little bit. The low beam looks nearly the same but the high beam is actually shining on the road now. I'm still going LED but I'm glad to have a little better lighting for now.

I got my EJK fuel controller all installed and I could immediately feel an performance improvement. It even sounds better somehow.

I think I still need to play with tuning it. Anyone have recommendations for settings with stage 1 mods (exhaust and intake)?

For now I just doubled the "stock" settings for a 300:

Any update? I read through their instructions and it's confusing to me.

How does it feel? Are you satfisfied with where it's at or do you think it needs further adjustment?

We went to Gladwin, MI yesterday. We rode 76 miles of gravel, mud, hard pack but mostly sand. I've never riden in sand before so that was a real treat. After almost dumping my bike countless times I made it the whole day upright... almost. We were heading back to the truck, literally the final 500 feet of the day, and I spotted a pretty steep climb up a hill. I made it to the top and promptly tipped over in what seemed like slow motion, much to the amusement of my kid who found it hillarious. All in all, the KLX did great and we had a great time.

I put a deposit on a green 2022. Hoping to get it before the snow comes. I think it will be a great addition to my Versys X300 which I have set up for street duty.

Congrats! I think you'll really enjoy it.

I'm hoping to get a bike next year that suits the street a little better (Tenere 700 or such) and then be able to setup the KLX for a little more off road (slightly lower gear ratio, more aggressive tires, etc.).

Do they have one that fits? I don't see a listing specifically for the 300. Kawasaki lists different part numbers for the pipe and muffler from the '19 250.
