Yeah, I pulled the post. Going to see if I can get it on youtube. It’s just 4 seconds of me jumping a train track.

Man between Dan's curb jumping and that you guys are a bunch of Travis Pastranas up in here. I need to excuse myself and go out and find my 'A' game before coming back to this thread!

I'm pretty sure I was bottoming out and that video makes me look higher off the ground than I really was.
Had about 40lbs worth of camp kit in that giant loop bag. Also had my suspension on "comfort".
Just goofing about....was fun though! This bike is a blast.

Has anyone with the Rally or Pro Suspension figured out a quick way to go from Rider to Rider with Luggage preload adjustments? On the R models it is typically just a couple of clicks or wheel turns, but with the Pro suspension on the Rally it is a different animal (maybe the best solution is figuring out how to mark the collar). The book method seems to be adjust and measure every time. Maybe a wheel I could stick on the end of the preload adjuster would be handy.

Has anyone used the Bridgestone AX41 tires to get an idea of mileage on the 890 (or 790)? I need rear tire #2 already (4200 miles).

    Edit, or Anakee Wilds?

I just use the adjuster until i get the sag i want. set the sag depending on how much weight is yet to be added to the bike. ie just a rider = 30-40mm sag. rider, pillion and luggage = no sag.

The AX41 loses much if it's off road traction when only partially worn but is better on the street. The Anakee Wild will power up a hill when almost worn out.

I’m about to mount some motoz tractionator gps tires and do about 3k miles. Leaving from Austin to do the AZBDR.
My rear tkc 80 didn’t even make it to 1k miles....

Hey guys, do the '21 890 and '19-'21 790 KTMs have identical top case mounting structures?
Just picked up an 890 and I've an old Givi monokey top case I'd like to mount to it

I’ve read through every, and I mean every page. Problem is finding what’s in there for reference. I’ve started a couple of threads when I was looking for a specific focus, a bonus was it would hopefully help others find the answer they needed quicker. These general posts get so muddied, but it probably has the answer it there somewhere.

I’m about to do my first oil change and then head out on a big camping trip with my riding buddy. I’ve not posted many pics of the bike, yet. But here you go. Some form a morning ride today, the others after a quick wash.

    Farkle List to date:

    Rottweiler Power plate
Guglatech Air filter ( fuel filter on back order)
    Triple Clamp Moto Neck Brace
    DoubleTake Mirrors
    BDCW Pegs
    SpeedoAngel LCD protector
    KTM Pannier Rack
    Altrider side stand enlarger
    KTM Center Stand
    Kriega Fork Sox
Givi Air Flow windscreen (uninstalled for now)
Small spoiler for stock screen (stock is fine for me unless it’s really cold or rainy)
My 10 year old Fandango tank bag with 3M clear protection underneath
    KTM Heated Grips
    Tech Pack
Luggage: Tusk Pilot Panniers and a KTM Pp waterproof Duffel (>100 liters of space total).

I’ve got another seat on order, but the more I ride the stocker the more I like it. I might just keep using that and cancel my seat order.

LOVING the 890 R after a few great years on a 1290 SAT. Losing 150 lbs makes a world of difference!

It’s also really nice to be back on the forum with a new machine. I always find myself coming here for knowledge when I get a new machine. Thanks to all who are sharing wisdom and lessons learned. It’s a great community.

Staying near home; work is super busy. We are heading back to Tellico Plains TN. Lots of great riding and camping out that way.

    Actually, I have no idea.
