The only time I've heard of overheating was not visible on the gauge but rather felt heat on a bike with a burnt up clutch pack

So looks like racks and soft bags don't get alot of love on these bikes, with most favoring rack-less.
But I'm pretty happy so far with my Bumot setup, pretty handy.

24" monitor fits, but just short of being able to buckle the Bumot straps, so ran a GCAG strap to backup the velcro closure.

Finally broke the bike all the way in, beast has been unleashed! Still got some parts rolling in but loving every ride out on it, keeps feeling like it's getting better and better. SC low comfort seat is definitely firm out the gate, but already after 100m seems to be improving.

Both my Visa and I are getting tired of opening packages for a motorcycle that I don’t have yet!

It has been a moving target. I am told it will be done next week now but I haven’t been in a hurry as I am still riding the sled on the weekends.

I definitely think it suits it hah. Just got back from a weekend trip, did about 400m, seat was firm but overall fine. I did notice one of the seams got undone though, so gonna have to send it back to SC to get that fixed up.

Finally got it on some nice forest roads out here though, and holy cow, that suspension soaks all the hits up, but you definitely have to push for it hah, got some great weather coming up this week so super excited to take it out without 40lbs of luggage on it and see what it can really do :lol3

so guys a little heads up
after contacting twalcom about their mud guard to ask where i could buy it in the US ( http://twalcom.com/frame.php?key=L2...leS5waHAjL3Nob3AvcHJvZHVjdC5waHA/SUQ9MTM4NA== under 790/890 special parts)
they answered me and cc'd their distributer here mosites motorsports ( mositesmotorsports.com )
long story short 2 months later they got the package . its not on their site as the had a small waiting list and didn't want to have sell out before it was fulfilled.
    part cost 81.99 shipped
you can email them to ask for it , I would hurry as these will probably sell out fast

I guess that means no. I am not aware of anyone receiving them for the 890. Glad to see you got yours. Your the guinea pig.

I’m in the states if that matters. I told the dealer to order this pn 63712964088 and received those two boxes. That’s what I expected to receive. I’ll work on it tonight and report back.

It's possible to mount them at home? Or you need to activate them via software at the dealers?

On question one it should be checked when warm usually about 1 minute after the bike has been running. If you store your bike using a paddock stand you will find the oil level will fill the sight glass. So always check the oil when warm and about a minute after the engine has been shut off.
