Why not do this in the USA thread only.
That is what the regional threads are for.
Limited availability? Due to COVID? Did someone predict this...?
I call BS on the regional claim number digit code, it is more likely the reservation numbers had codes in it. It appears that it was in sequence starting around 6200 and ran into the 7200 range. I am 736227 for Ashton, Idaho, and my dealer and I were on it. My reservation # was emailed to me at 12:04 ET, and my dealer emailed my claim sheet to me at about 12:12 ET. I suspect that this is just Yamaha's sequenced claim number, and that range has other orders mixed in there also.
If we are lucky Yamaha has a number of these through customs and sitting in a couple ware houses ready to load onto trucks and distribute. (Perhaps we need a spot a Yamaha tractor-trailer thread if we want to spin ourselves up more).
It was a good idea in theory mcmann.
I've been watching y'alls threads with an eye to maybe down sizing a little from my 1090R. I'm glad I didn't have a deposit down...this Yamaha fiasco would have turned me off the bike.
The confirmation code was only that, you're on the list to get one first round.
Made in Japan = a Long Beach warehouse
The guy in the middle of the country who was first to get a # is not going to get a bike sooner than the guy living close to port.

So that May 22 order day is not that far off of dealers getting bikes in the US (from Japan) first week in June?
That is a crazy fast turn around any way you look it. Either Japan had them all built and ready to ship asap or bikes were on the boat already.
Something I found.
Not to mention loading the ship, unloading the ship, clearing customs, moving containers to the distribution center and finally transporting bikes to dealers.
May 22 (+ several days) to first week in June at dealers in the US.
Not possible unless many things have happened already.
Got ya. So everyone with a PDP might not actually get a bike in June.
Still don't see your number in as an indicator as a delivery truck isn't goint to drive all over the place delivering bikes in that order. They are going to drive the minimal to drop the max.
We shall see...the clusterfuck might continue.
They are in the US.
And the damn rioters better stay away from the warehouse, Can you imagine if.....
Sounds like it is?
The bike itself is plated in Georgia. That’s all I know.
Looks like they are on the Smoky mountain 500 route.
Claim # 636291. Dealer confirmed it's on the yamaha shipping manifest for 6/8. Will be at my rural northern California dealership (Humboldt) within a week after that. Just an fyi for those waiting impatiently... Yours is coming!
Claim number 636301 , shipping on the 8th. My OTD price is $11,235 including sales tax. Not sure how long shipping actually takes.
Ordered the rally pack, dealer told me bike is being shipped stock. All rally pack options will be included in a separate shipment. All stock parts included in sale.
Just got off the phone with my Yamaha salesmen-- He confirmed from YDS that my Intensity White bike was shipped out yesterday ( June 3rd, 2020) from Mobile, AL.
