I only waited 5 minutes. As soon as it was posted, I was pming him, and as soon as I had a phone number, I was calling.

One would assume there will be more and more slightly used T7’s popping up over the next few months. Especially, for older riders hoping to replace a vibraty carbed thumper with a smoother riding (twin-powered) Fi dual sport.
IMO, the T7 is a bit on the bulky side to feel confident on tight single trails that require man-handling etc.

However, it is the best option at this point:-)

You can not hesitate . . . If a good deal pops up . . . you better go for it.

I read on a separate post that some dealers may be getting bikes next month possibly? For those still waiting

I just got off the phone with a local dealer. He said Yamaha is telling them no one will be getting anymore bikes until January. Now that said the dealer I am working with still says he should have one in November and reports are some dealers are getting stock in every day. So your guess is as good as mine whether we see any more before the end of the year.

Local shop had two which sold within 2 days so it seems.
Another dealer had a full zoot adventure accessory bike for $9999.
It was a hook, and a lie...

I got the call from my dealer today. Mine should be in this weekend. Really looking forward to getting out on it.

I heard no more bikes will ship until 2022, unless you put down an odd numbered deposit on a Tuesday or Thursday and your last name starts with K. And even then, they are only shipping green ones. Of course, another dealer told me that was crap and it was Wednesdays and 3 syllable last names only.

Not necessarily. My dealer had the same thing showing during the PDP fiasco. Before my bike showed up and before I even had an Shipping Confirmation, they showed my dealer had stock on hand...just so happened the "Stock on hand" they were showing on Yamaha's website was the same number of units they had on order. I.E. already spoken for. Still gotta check with the dealer. It's as if Yamaha websites cant tell the difference between actual stock on hand that's not claimed and spoken-for bikes currently being shipped.

    I hope I'm wrong

I believe the one listed in my post at Freedom Powersports is sold. A friend was up there Monday and it was on the floor, but with a sold tag. Don't know if it was a presold unit, or a stock one that someone jumped on quickly.

Mine is in my dealer's hands and I will pick it up Tuesday. Still not showing on the Yamaha website. Go figure.

Yamaha's website is BS I contacted every dealer they showed had one in stock and none of them actually had them or knew when they were getting more.

    IMO.
You young’un need to just back off and let the more seasoned riders get these first in the country bikes. After all ,in all probability Yamaha will be importing this model for a year or two more. It won’t be long now ‘for some of us have the family get the court order that gets us sentenced to the nursing homes.
Then our bikes will be available for pennies on the dollar !

Here in the Northwest you need to have a deposit down and be in line. Chances of finding one in the area by just looking are slim to none.

The dealers that are advertising they have them in stock , around here, really just want your information and a deposit.

I may have gotten lucky and the guy ahead of me dropped off the waiting list. My T7 number is in the 1700s. Well worth the wait . Great bike.
