With about three months to go before it is on....what are your predictions? Will the old guard prevail or relinquish the mantle? New kids, new teams, tweeners, old guys, new goggles, new year. Hopefully, we will be able to attend the venues. Choices have consequences. Eat your Wheaties, drink your Ovaltine; it should be a very exciting season. Hey, where are all the......

Making Tomac Dylan's team mate? That's kinda ballsy.

I gather Tomac will still be practicing at home, not Florida with the rest of them.
    His tracks are getting refreshed.

It's going to be a very competitive season and consistency will be key. There are number of guys that have the potential to win a race this year Webb, Tomac, Roczen, Ferrandis, Ciancirulo, Barcia, Musquin, Sexton, Plessinger? Out of that there are 4 guys that can win this title imo Webb, Tomac, Ferrandis, and maybe Roczen. Let's see who can maintain on the box all year long...I'm taking Webb.

I think Dylan is on a momentum high... coming off his AMA #1 outdoors 450 plate title win... and a solid background in SX from previous 250 and his debutant year in 450's...

Webb is the defending SX #1 plate holder and knows how to grind out a Supercross title over the duration of a season.

Roczen... the years are getting away on him now - post arm surgery/recovery - how many seasons does the (now family man) have left in him?

Tomac... who knows? Maybe the blue colour make over will get him fired up? Though YAMAHA have done little in the premier 450 SX class since god knows when...?

No reason to take anyone other than Webb as the favorite for the season. But I'm sure as hell excited to see how Mookie and AP look after spending the off-season at the Baker's factory.

If you just fast forward at the 25 second mark of his podium speeches he’s more tolerable

I've always thought it would be bloody entertaining to hear Nasser Al Attiyah give a Supercross podium interview... :1drink

"... yes, but okay... of course we push hard in the whoops... and okay, you know - we did a good race and pushing all the way... but okay, it's a tough track - you know with a flat tyre... but no matter, we try to do our best..." :D

For the 2022 title I have to go with Webb again. Between his starts and his SX race craft, I don't see any reason to bet against him. The only thing that might make the difference is his split with Aldon. I would guess that his dedication and training knowledge should keep him where he needs to be but maybe that extra 1% that the Baker factory provides will make the difference. Between the Tomac switch, Ferrandis momentum, AC being "fixed" and all of the other story lines, this should be a great season.

Until the season starts I will just keep myself busy watching videos like this one:

I found this video and smiled for 1 hour and 3 mins..
