Well after 5 days riding we finished the Veracruz Coffee Route and now Im preparring to head back home.

8 bikes from north of the country met 5 bikers from middle north side of country. and spent a very joyful time, eating tons of seafood, swiming, and visiting the antique coffee hacienda where one of our good friends; Andres, grew up and of course did bring him a very good memories of his childhood days.
    pics are comming soon.

This Ride was composed by two parts.
    1. The Coffee Route
    2. The Vulcanoes Route

The first route was rode from Reynosa MX to Xalapa Veracruz.

Hollywood business is always present at Veracruz State, movies such as
"Clear and Present Danger" - at Xalapa (Xico)
    "Medice Man" at tuxtlas area
    "Apocalypto" at catemaco area

and many others where filmed at most on these sites.

so you can know what type of nature and places you can find and visit here.

well, our ride was full of joy and with some minor incidents that just delayed us but never stoped us to reach our goal. Have Fun!!

here we are at Reynosa, ready to ride, waiting for the rest of the group
I was riding with my son (2 up).

Here Andres, our leader guide to this adventure. Pirate John joined us too.

After 100 miles, we stoped for the first Gas refilling and to wait for the couple bikes that were behind. after 30 min we decided to continue and left some instructions to the gasstation workers for the two behind to they could find us. (no cel, no radio on these area).

Finally one of the bikes makes it and tell us that the other bike got broken right after cross customs and decided to get back to Reynosa after contacting someone to pick him up. So the rest are togheter and get to Tampico. right before to take the detour to avoid the city, other bike had a problem, and Andres put hands on to fixed it.

in the mean time we all tried to get cover from the sunlight and heat.

this fruits vendor thought we were some kind of missioners, and we wondering why he thinked that, he said that he was thinking that we were carrying books and bibles inside the panniers and topcases of the bikes.:lol3 :lol3
    [IMG]

Ferdi told him, hey men! stop smoking pot, and get to work!!
poor guy, it was really a junky trying to get some honest money for his need.

It is nice to see the KLRs so well represented. Other than mine and a few F650s and R1200s, everything seems to be under 250ccs here.

Looks like a really fun trip. That looks like a really nice hotel to relax in.

I'll look for volcanoes as I migrate East to Veracruz.

After visiting the Coffee Hacienda, we went to a small Village called Xihuitlan, where Andres' Grandparents use to live.

The Locals where all excited to see "so many" motorcycles that they started gathering on the roofs, windows and sidewalk corners.

I did proclamed right there that that event would be the "XIHUITLAN FIRST MOTORCYCLE FEST":evil :evil
