2019 South Pass Scramble (not really a race!)
    Atlantic City, Wyoming
    Miner's Grubstake
    September 14th, 2019 9AM Check in
$25.00 entry fee, $5.00 per extra hand $40.00 for five hands
    1st,2nd, and last place pays.

    The lowdown:
The Poker Run is wide open 100 mile desert ride on dirt roads. Numerous vehicles participate in the poker run, (side by sides, 4 wheelers, even a couple trucks tag behind for support). This is not a technical ride whatsoever. Big bikes, small bikes whatever! The area boasts plenty of camping. Two BLM established campgrounds, plus wide open BLM land to camp. The Grubstake is our host spot, (nice little bar/restaurant). Aside from the actual poker run there is adventure biking galore. Loop Road (which has some excellent dirt bike trails) , Big Sandy, and dirts roads in every direction for hundreds of miles. No sign up necessary. Don't feel obligated to do the Poker Run if you would rather do one of the other area rides, but feel free to camp and drink beer with other riders at the end of the day! Poker Run Supports scholarship efforts for students who are/will be enrolled in a trade school
If you haven't rode the area this is your time to come check it out. The area is an adventure bike paradise, especially for those big bikes. Cooler weather, leaves are changing, blah, blah, blah. Atlantic City is a cool little defunct mining town lots of cool stuff to check out. Has the Dust to Dawson feel.
