The ride Don led this morning. The climb up here was tough on my little 200 two-up.
See if you can find this monument to Devil Anse while you are in town...
I took this photo when I got to the top of the hill, I was huffing and puffing, make me wonder how they got the monument up there.
I think it would be a real challenge to ride up there.
Hey guys, look what I ran into.
But no problem, after the Playground ride!
All in one piece and riding on

One of the stops on the Chicken and Dumpling ride today.
Bacon on sticks!
I'll do up a shorty ride report soon, but for now...
We were loving everything; killer roads, both paved and not, and great people. Trip took an interesting turn after my dad went down on Dons Saturday morning ride. Packed up camp and rode to a Charleston hospital... Turned out he has a dislocated and possibly fractured big toe, as well as a broken ankle.
Home safe. My car is going to the shop soon. I couldn't keep it in fifth gear on the drive home. It kept slipping out, so I mostly drove in fourth; poor Subaru. Around six miles from home, the sick shifter bushing started rattling and slipping out of fourth.
I'm proud of my girl's progress during the rally. She handled terrain that is tougher than she's ever ridden before.
Sorry about the hitch falling off. I hope you had a great time
H was a great smores ambassador.
I hope the broken mirror did not spoil your drive home. You were very funny and was great around the fire pit.
My first rally and it was awesome, no it was really AWESOME. All I tried to do was follow a can of soup around. Great place and great fellow riders. Can't wait till next year and do it all over again. Enjoy and stay safe.
had a real nice time. our excellent hosts kathy and don mccoy went above and beyond for us dirty motorcyclists. the bacon-hot dog themed lunches and then the bacon palooza saturday night was spectacular. this is a first class event and i look forward to many more. and it all started with salllydog leading the charge in 2015 for a byob location in matewan.
Kudos to the McCoy Clan, Don and Kathy you hit it out of the park. You really have something here and I look forward to next year!!! Cheers.
Great rally. Kathy and Don thank you for the hospitality. Don great rides you had and and nice history lesson about the feuds too bad it was so hot. Some pics of the bacon baked over the fire and the banjo player
sallydog pointing and saying if he were to get another 'big dirt bike' that's the one he'd choose!
