Looking for suggested routes and sights for 3 guys on adventure bikes looking to tour the backways of Ontario. Looking to avoid the 401 whenever possible.

A lot depends on the dates and if you plan on doing any off-road trails . If you have never done the ride from Wawa to the Soo , it is awesome .take the 129 from Thesalon to Chapleau then the 101 ( I think ) to Wawa . Wawa to the Soo visit St Joseph’s island drive to Espanola and catch the ferry from Manitoulin island to the Bruce peninsula . After that head home where ever that is .

There is a lot of trails and gravel roads in that area that you can explore . If you want to stick to dirt as much as possible look into the TCAT .

The triangle formed by Hwy 11, Hwy 17 and Hwy 7....from Orillia to North Bay to Ottawa and back...contains so many great riding options it’s hard to name them all. What are you looking to ride? Backroad asphalt? Backroad gravel? Double track/power lines?

TCAT see graveltravel.ca Some of it will not be for big bikes but if you look up MasonsADV on thetube he posted vids of it all from Ottawa to at least Wawa I think, he was on a KLR.
