I love the smiles on people faces after they learn what they bike can do,,,I highy recomend it

here are just a few photos of last week end clinic,I hope many of you come next time.

Typical ricky fall...look at the ditch made by the cilinder head, the bike slid down about 20" feet
sorry about the knee on the picture but the surface was to slippery to stand up,so i was ussing the tripod sistem aka sitting on my butt
    [IMG]

This is more or less the typical population, very eclectic from xr80 and 7 years old ladys to a sporster harley davidson.

the GS guys with the pristine bikes when we start,,a few hours later they were not the same
    [IMG]

Mister Rivers,,fancy charriot and the super nice ktm 250
    [IMG]

the condiccion were perfect for 200Pound bikes but really slippery for 600 pound ones
    .[IMG]

even the super easy trails have some serius mud puddles,,I think i drop the bike my self about 20/25 times,,and help liftting others more or less the same amount.

    the easy trail

I think I know how you feel when you teach the MSF course,,is just so nice to help people learn what they can do and how far the can push(Performance and "Walking"=Feet pushing also) their bikes.

awesome The drills are pretty simple but super usefull,is kind of funny even the simplest things like a flat piece of ground can more dificult that a tight single track if you push it hard enogh.

See you in one of them.... hopefully i will helping in all of them

...and a great time was had by all, but it was a tad chilly.

    [IMG] [IMG]

Listen, learn, and practice is a great way for a rank amateur like me to learn.

...and the ride home was nice, too.

Recommend it to anyone in the area. Do it. Enjoy it. Hell, it's free!

I thought the drills were good learning tools. Particularly the wheelie drill. That was a good one.

Ricky, you are a fine teacher.

Brownant, it was a pleasure hangin' wit cha.

Now that looks like it would be a blast. Too bad I’m way over here and have the wrong kind of machine for that kind of fun. This site is getting me hooked – have started looking for a used dual sport machine.

I spend money on my Wing like I have it and pile the street miles on as if this is my last opportunity to ride for the rest of my life. Dual sporting and off road looks way to cool – gotta go there!

    Rad,

Would never even consider giving up the Wing, it’s a great bike and I use it for pleasure and business travel – but the dual sports riding looks like a total blast!

Some of the trips I’ve read about on this site look like they would be a lot of fun. I have just recently started to look at the sport and will study for some time before making any moves.

I got the Sebring exhaust back on the bike and fixed the leak on the front rim. Should be good to go tomorrow. :drums Went to Doc's classroom session Friday night. Good stuff. Looking forward to tomorrow

    Hey Lone*Star,

Unfortunately I said "us newbies" in the general sense.....I'm trapped at home in NJ with the temperatures actually creeping above freezing for the first time this year....will give the ice a chance to melt/expand/refreeze:(:

Hope you had a great time!

Ricky, did you make it there??

I was smart and didn't stay gone too long. Yeah, thanks Rad! I've been thinking Orange. What a fun bike. :freaky

The clinic was great. The drills are simple but they really help. Area 5 has some fun stuff to play on afterward too.
