    Announcing the 1st Annual: 3 Step Desert Rendezvous. April 26-May 1, 2018

3 Step Hideaway is the perfect jumping-off point, and there are GPS tracks available for you to do day loops with all types of dirt/dual-sport bikes, and all skill levels.

We have plenty of room for you to camp or cabin nightly. Campfire storytelling and supper included!!
Come ride spectacular Southeastern Utah and Southwestern Colorado!!

With so much incredible scenery and terrain, the toughest part is picking only four day's of loops. For example, Montezuma Canyon, Comb Ridge/Butler Wash, Lockhart Basin, Kane Springs, White Rim Trail, Moab, and beyond!!

Proceeds above expenses will go to Ride with Respect for supporting responsible recreation.

    More info coming.......Stay tuned!

I will have to check with the boss to see if
I can get some time off.
Oh, wait, I’m retired. Just need to talk to my wife.

    Scott,
Been meaning to stay at your place for some time now, it just hadn't worked out yet.
This sounds like a great idea, especially since it'd be based on (your) private property, thus eliminating the usual issues regarding permits and reservation and a BLM LEO showing up in camp to hassle the organizer preemptively, just in case they think about riding in a large group w/o a permit. (This really happened in the past)

Besides, I think it'd be great if this were to act as a reminder to all that you are there, in a great location, and as a fellow rider can provide the information that visitors always seek when planning a riding trip/weekend in a new (to them) location. Win/win!

    Good on you!

    I think I'm in.

Sounds and looks really nice... of course coming from the evil side of the mountains, one can't commit until the weather forecast for May 1 is out...

Weather conditions? No problem! Just check with Kathy Sabine. I'm sure she can give you an accurate long range forecast for that exact week! She always gets the weather right!:dirtdog:(

    Hi Scott,
    Hoping you are both well.

Any more info on your rendezvous? I'm trying to rope others into signing up but would like to make sure it's still on before I do.

I am in and coming from Canon City, just hope Monarch and Dallas Divide are free of snow. Looks like a great area. . . I have ridden there a lot. I will try and round up some guys from SE Colorado to go with me.
