Is it just that by co-incidence or are other vehicles suitable for this ride? Project G/S material? wayne, would you be able to get your 950 through where you are going? I owe you some gas If I come. I am contemplating a ride tomorrow of some sort.

    tc,

I did the pickle gulch route last weekend on my DRZ. And I also think I can wrestle a GS in and out of most places other GSers won't go. And there is no way I'd go there on a big twin.

So go for it, and take pics. :lol3

uh, I wouldn't try spring creek on my 950, but I'd try it on Neduros 950.:D Yeah this is a small bike ride...

Hey wayne, If you could do it on Neduro's 950 I could do it on your 950 and....Nevermind. Does look nasty though and I have not yet sufficiently armored my G/S for Colorado. I need to put a couple pounds more aluminum under it. Thanks for posting the picks and link. Maybe I'll see you all on one of the lesser dirt roads along the way. By the way, I found the source of my problem during big Dave's ride. I was not starving/not venting/out of fuel but rather having a very intermittent open at my ignition box connection. rode 65 miles today after correcting it without a hitch. really funny the way it cycled (seemingly) with the load though.

    Once again, great ride.

I've got to get in better shape, and work on my technique. I caught glimpses of techniques that would make those climbs easier, but mostly they were just brutal. I was breathing harder than an obscene phone call.

Sure was FUN, though. One of those times where in the middle of it all I was saying "what the hell am I doing?", but once I was home it was "I wanna do that again!".

If any of those pics come out, it would be nice to have a report from this one, sorry I forgot my camera.

    What did Wayne say?
Something like: "The rocks are huge, but they don't move. So you just ride right over them!" :loco

Sorry I didn't make the "FUN" part, but the ride up until I ran out of trail and into a tree was plenty of regular fun. The knee's doing better than I thought it would. Still hurts to move laterally and I can't straighten it all the way but the pain's not too bad. Looks like it'll just need some time and plenty of vitamin I.

Great group of riders out there, I had a blast.

Sprained MCL- doc says I'll be back on the WR in 2 weeks! Got a brace and that's it. Interesting to note we found an old fibula break on the X-rays that I never knew about. :lol3
