The abomination on the right :fpalm

A buddy of mine has a bone stock JKU Rubicon in white - no lift, eyebrows or other gaudy accessories, just some 33 Nitto ATs. Amazingly capable in stock form - pretty comfy - but the stock head unit sounds terrible.

We rented a Rubicon in Alaska last year and by the end of the trip were less than impressed. It just felt like it was about to fall apart though we had no issues. Part of that was probably the severely cupped BFG KMs we were stuck rolling on.

    The pop-up was handy though.

I should post up a picture of my next door neighbor's Rubicon. He's a full on "tactical" guy and has probably $80k of upgrades from suspension, rock bars, LED's, you name it tacked onto his "Ruby". The funniest effin thing is he won't take it offroad since it "might get damaged". I bust his ballz at every turn about his $125k "mall crawler", but to him, it's all about "the look". Shameful!

I had one with the 3.6, had enough power but was lacking at altitude. (disclaimer: I am a turbo direct injection junkie)
Best task at hand for it for me was hauling a## down a dirt road but get some HD tires first.
Sold it and haven't missed it.

Jeeps shouldn't have any doors much less four of them.
