Took some nice back roads on the way to Fort Coulonge.

The water crossing at Lac Litchfield had some hidden boulders and holes.

    GPS Master had to dismount.

Unfortunately, Trail Blazer fell over in the middle and watered out and I didn't get a picture. I was too busy trying to save him and getting my feet wet.

    Water cooled headlight.

I've ridden a lot of the dirt north of the 117, just enough to know there's a hell of a lot more I haven't touched yet. Fun place to play. :thumb

After getting the KTM going again there must have been some water in the oil, which increased the level, forcing the motor to burn oil. For the next while there were huge clouds of blue smoke in the forest.

This trail was probably the hardest we did on the trip. Technical, muddy and overgrown, and not much used. Everyone fell down at least once.

    Going for it.

    Not quite the desired result.

The 640 Adventures were a handful in here.

Crossing the Coulonge river. No more bridges for about 60 km.

Nice trail. Too bad the beaver dam blew out and took out the bridge. We were able to backtrack and use a different trail.
