Cleaned and lubed the chain earlier this week. Woke up at 5 am tried to go back to sleep but that wasn't going to happen. Got up ate and packed the bike. Roller out at 8am. First stop Ephrata for gas.

Headed out on 322 to Brickerville then onto Mountain Rd. Colebtook north and took a short cut over to 443. I managed to wander around while taking the short cut and finally made it to 443 east of the casino. 443 is a really nice road.

Stopped at the Boyd Conservation area. I always have Joni Mitchell's song "Paved Paradise" running in my head when I see the Boyd sign.

The bike didn't want to start at the bottom of the hill but I managed to get it going.

Did you figure out why the bike didn't want to start? Bike looks good all loaded up. Weather looks a bit grey in the your pic there, hopefully you get some nice weather for your rally!

I skirted the southside of Raystown lake then headed south and jumped on 164 until I realized that it waz a liitle later than I thought and it was getting to be time for gas. Turned north on 36, gassed up in Holidaysburg and continued out on 36. Hit rain about 25 mile east of Punxsutawney and it poured for 5 miles. I zipped up and continued until I stopped in Punx looking for my bank only to remember that wells Fargo doesn't have a bank or atm west of Harrisburg in Pa and there doesn't seem to be any locations in easter Ohio.

Punx is the rodent capital of the world. They have theses statues everywhere

    Pic at later date.

Hit a little more rain just before the campground

57 degress this morning per the bike temp.

Breakfast then off to the zombie museum then to Mars, or the other way around.

Have them.make a theme out of it. Plaine Jane LFL's aren't as cool as the decorated ones.

There were a lot of nice vistas on my ride out to western Pa but they were 2 problems. 1 the views were playing peek-a-boo between the trees and 2 when there was a clearing there was no place to safely pull over.

The other thing I noticed was a lot of skunks napping one the road. You may ask how donI know they were napping? Well, it is because they must have been farting in their sleep because of the fog of stench around the area. If they were awake it wouldn't have stunk as bad .
