Or at least an hour of it mid afternoon. I had turned down my insurance and put the bikes in the barn on chargers but it was too nice and coincidentally I just today received a pair of Dainese pants with a thermal liner from an inmate here and decided to try them out. I live in farmland so lots of small, winding roads up and down through bluffs. There was a lot of sand down on the hills and in the corners from the last time it snowed but no salt that I could see. I took it easy in the sand and it felt great to get in that one last ride for the year. Apologies, I suppose, are due to all the first day deer hunters sitting quietly in their stands as I flew by with my pipe in full song.

I'm jealous too, but I'm going out tomorrow, forecasting near 50 degrees.

Finally made it out, on the Cheese Country Trail. It got up into the upper 40's, the trail was in great shape, met only three others in over 100 miles, and it felt great to get out and ride.

Thank you for sending the nice weather to Michigan.

We got a 200 mile bonus ride on Sunday!

Tried to stay out of the State Game areas to avoid the hunters, so we hit our local water crossings:

I’m still riding in Madison! Daily commute across town. It’s not much but I’ll enjoy it as long as I can.
