Ya don't want to bleed off high pressure, what's going to center, but make xlow pressure, drop heavy particulars off to side,it keeps air clean into intake,by now xu no I'm a nutball,

NEPA, good thread, sounds like you're enjoying the 450L.

A couple of threads back you asked about oil(s): I can tell you we switched over to the Lucas semi-synthetic on my son's YZ250F & have been extremely pleased. He's normally banging out 20 minutes motos during practice sessions and even stretching the oil & filter changes out to four - five hours, oil analysis is coming back clean. It's also reasonably priced and available at O'Reilly Auto Parts (among others).

The folks at Cafe Husky made a strong case for 10-40 or lighter weight oil to keep the engine temps down - rationale being that the little oil pump in our bikes can circulate the lighter weight oil faster, allowing it to cool.

As much as we rode during the summer in AL and GA, I'm a believer.

    Have fun out there.

Just warm it up to temp in radiator, shut off x let heat some 3 min, run it,
Semi syn is good for rust after sitting, syn runs off, rusts cam lobes...

Fk fi, first thing I did when got home, got flashlight out, looked at intake, airbox,,,

FI,,on anything goes by theory,, how good ate u,,
    Carb goes by reality, ,
Maybe my 08 is hiper, only thing done, airbox, jetting,,

    L,,, 300 miles,it's smooth kind of,
As for what all are batching about vibration, ,,wow, I ride.by vibration, feel,
Gosh, I don't no how to write what I want to say anyway I've always believed in Honda's quality building the rack on my 450 l last night I took the left seat bowl out I'm very anal on strip seat bolts it was never put in writing they were stripped first time I took it out so do I fight with the dealer do I fight with Honda and do I just use a longer shoulder Bolt that's not the point so I think it's got this problem motorcycle it's not a big thing but since 1966 never ever had a stripped bolt Hardware failure on a Honda it's kind of makes me feel I don't want to f****** thing
