I got ecm figured out,,dam cold weather, I'm board,
As I rattle on,I'll no more when I get cfms back of pipe and cat/muffler,and try to tailor ,map to pipe/muffler,I'm figuring on 18/24% more ex flow,we're cfms need to be to make the L respond ,in zone same as it is but better,

But the math,theory, reality is working,it keeps me young,
Better mpg,tq,response, feel,bottom like tractor,top like R,dependable,
And quiet enough to ride past 2 squirrel acting like rabbits,
With a better grin factor than both,,lol

Ya because the 250r is a closed race bike and the elle is a mass market emissions and noise compliant Street bike. aka Starbucks bike.

and brakes and rotors,,, theres more HP in them brakes , than motor will ever have,,,

crf duals have 1.200" primary section the 450L has 1.380" (ish)
450 L has a really small dia header so it will have good torque while trying to push the exhaust through an impossibly small muffler outlet.
It really runs very well considering how plugged up it is.

Its been a cold winter so far and im soooo board,
so im spinding my time ,, using old parts I have laying around,,,lol
made 4 different styles of baffles,,,why ?
And I belive Jimmy Lewis on the weight posted in DB,
And CNs should invest in a good scale cuz there 10 lbs off,
I was out the last couple days riding after a bit of mods,
I gave up on slip on,in a way, because flow is all related to size of head pipe,
yea it will free up a little but ya need more fuel,timing mods,
and really, I just wanted smooth throttle in and out,
more clutch control,caused by transmission of throttle lean when you are feathering clutch to get up a rockey,muddy slope.
acting like wisky throttle and clutch acting like its possessed with the feeling like no oil in trans,
I want my fingers ,toes,brain all connected with my bike, no matter what im riding,,,
so I can just be me and ride,,,

What did the dyno say? What was the power difference between the two? Why are you giving up on the slip on? Because the headpipe is too small? Can you fabricate a new one?
It was 44 out Monday, yesterday I clicked go pro on and it was 38 deg, roads were half froze,half soft,you could tell
by way mud was not sticking to bike, so,,, be careful, I had it jump 3 feet left and right a bunch of time, I needed that addrilline fix,,,
just keep it in the band so if you got to get out of it quick,,, if anyone understands
I don't have enough English to even start to explane what ive been through,
But I can tell you ,results are really positive on L, and im Very Happy with it now.
theres not much to gain over 6500 rpms, without costing you to many downs than ups,
so I decided to make the best of 6500 down, and maybe streach the 6500 up a bit.
as far as im concerned the throttle people are buying to take care of throttle ,,IS A BAND-ADE,,,
Fix the problem,,how much is one of those throttles??
I hatted the clutch when you got into a spot were the throttle acceded up and clutch feel went to the devil,,,and than it flames out.
stall ,falture,stuck in a deep rock washout ,,,were 99% of the time I just get up on tank standing up and bounce as I throttle clutch it through it
and figure out were im heading ,bouncing to, and how much traction and throttle I need,and were im going next.
I could not do that ,till now.
yes I did a mod.
I really liked the X jetted,and quiet.
as for the L, I like it better being quiet, yes X might have more over 6500, but ,,,
the way the L is working now I ask myself,,do I really want to change the power of it now, the noise, the reliability
the ride ability, the bite,handling I have now, with no lean spots,,,
Nope,,,i am enjoying my Honda as Honda ment it to be.
I smoothed some things out,added a bit of fuel, and at this point,,,,
(and im pretty picky)
I MYSELF WOULD NOT CHANGE A THING ON MY 2019 450L TODAY.
