Meet-up number four is on. Join us for a great weekend of riding, food and camaraderie.
We will have the Bacanora tour, the amazing folk dancers, carne asada, great day rides and more.
As always, we will be collecting school supplies for the elementary school in La Mora.

Here is a bit of this year's flyer. Visit us here for more info or call 303-838-6505 from the US or international +1 623-231-0289

Penciled into my calendar, might be time for a repeat visit. Pizza night is worth the trip.

Yes. If you can get to Nogales, Cananea or Agua Prieta you can get here by bus. You may need to go to Hermosillo and back up from Nogales.
    Two trips daily from Hermosillo.

@Turkeycreek , do we need temporary import permit for the bikes? Also, a rough estimate of cost of events, bacanora tour, food, etc would be helpful for those of us that need an allowance from the SO.

    Thanks for the inquiry.
Yes, we are just outside of the Sonora Free Zone so to be legal get a TVIP.
The one paid event is the Bacanora tour. $20 US for the tour and a most incredible buffet lunch served still-side.

Los Arcos has a Carne Asada welcome dinner for $12
Pizza night is $10. Both include soft drinks and salad.

Breakfast is available at the hotel and other locations in town. Several lunch options including Pinguinos at OXXO

    Beer/other is BYO

Hotels rooms available in different price ranges and some tent camping

The high school dance troop is by donation.

Bring school supplies for elementary grades and buy a Banámichi Sticker for a $3 donation to the school.

Any other questions, let us know. We hope to see you here in November.

The attendees to our meet-up have been great supporters of our efforts to support the elementary school in the pueblito of La Mora.
The amount of school supplies you have brought down has been impressive and donations from sticker sales have been great as well, funding a new laser printer and lots of toner.
This month, with school ending soon, we will be replacing the floor in one of the classrooms. We originally hoped to just tile the dark and ugly concrete with something bright but the old floor has to removed completely, new concrete poured and tile installed.
We have some funds left from previous donations and this won't be expensive. You can help in November with a donation when you are here for the meet-up. If you would like to pitch in now, let me know via PM.

We will see you in November.
