(To prevent the "do you still have any left" questions - as of 11/1/2019 I have over 100 of the controllers left - I'll keep updating this as time goes on)

    It's getting cold out!!!

Become Goldilocks - not too hot and not too cold with one of these 5-stage heat controllers.

These are from Heat Demon and are rated at controlling up to 70 watts. They have a coax (barrel) style plug at the end that fits multiple brands and styles of heated gear. I picked them up from a surplus store, I wanted only one but ended up with a bunch. They have a belt buckle loop on the back (which is horribly pictured). I have ran one of these for the last 10k miles on my Aerostich heated vest and have loved it. No more worrying about on/off all the time!

    $20 shipped!!!

(PM for a shipping estimate outside the US)

    I currently have a gerbing On/Off switch.
If I buy the heat demon control, do I have to run on/off switch?

Yes, you would replace your on/off switch with this controller. One end plugs into your jacket, the other end plugs into the wiring to your battery. Both connections use the standard (2.5/5.5) plug that Gerbing (and others) uses on their 12-volt systems.

There is one button with 5 yellow/orange/red LED's that correspond to the heat intensity setting, plus you can fully switch the unit off. Each time the button is pressed the LED lights will indicate which of the 5 heat levels is selected. The 6th time it is pressed will turn off the power and the selection can start again. The button can also be held down for 3 seconds and the LED’s will dim for night operation.

Here are a couple pictures of the belt clip
