I am bringing my DR650, bring your dirty bike and let's play!
I am thinking this looks like a good time I may have to bring my wr250x and do the GS./ dirt ride as far as the ride to Punxsutawney there are a lot of fun roads up this way I live in the Punxsutawney area and ride past gobblers knob on the way to work ever day
There will be EXPLOR off-road training By pre-registration
Was thinking of coming to this as well. Rick you lead a pretty great road ride for us at BYOB 2014- let me know if you are having second thoughts on bike selection.
Sorry, but I just put new aggressive 50/50 tires on my DR just for that weekend. We may still get to ride together a bit that weekend. I can also point out some good roads on a map for you.
See you in a couple of weeks!
Weather conditions will decide which bike to bring for me. If dry then the GS Adventure, if wet with mud then the DR-Z400S. Kinda hoping for wet and muddy
You all are probably familiar Alain Kaldeway since he lives in PA...I had a beginner Adventure Class with him at Romney WV and it was extremely helpful and enjoyable. (Not a paid endorsement)

Putting new Anakee Wilds on the GS Adventure off-road wheels on Saturday. Between the GS and DRZ if is going to be a tough call for the rally.
Packed and ready to go...
Is it Thursday yet?
Joes Pizza for dinner 6:00pm.
Rode down in the rain Sunday for lunch. New pavement from town to the fairgrounds and the railroad tracks are gone. The campers there said that they can't wait for the Hi-vis people on quiet bikes to show up.
Looks like lots of sunshine and dry roads for Saturday. Bringing the GSA a.k.a "The Beast" this trip. Looking forward to a nice ride on Saturday.
See you guys at the rally

Just had my GSA serviced by the dealer this afternoon, new set of Anakee Wild tires installed to boot. Wife is telling me no on early Extreme ADV ride, but granted me a pass for the GS ride. She's the boss...
We are shooting to arrive around 4-5 p.m. on Friday.
I got mine.
