Wrong, you do need a CCW. Since you don't have one, we'll have to do something like jousting on motorcycles or karaoke.

    All signed up and excited.

Small truck, small trailer and tenting it.

Tentatively planning on being in the area a week + prior. So if anyone is interested in doing some camping and riding off the bike, I’m game

Anyone ever ride into Vegas for the day to hang out, gamble? Looks like it's only an hour away from camp? Who's feeling lucky? I need a new bike!

It’s Panamint Valley and if he augured in at 500kts you’ll not see many pieces larger than the tip of your finger.

May the pilot REST IN PEACE

You will need a new bike after you gamble it away or it gets stolen

    Will do

Been on jl’s Mailing list for almost a decade, so taking a class is a major part of my decision to make the long trek.

You could make a decent loop over Walker Pass, up and down Mt Charleston to the Red Rock Casino for "lunch", then ride the Red Rock Canyon loop road over to Blue Diamond and back to P-town on the 160...
Yabbut the High Roller blackjack table is $5, and the patrons... :uhoh

What's the distance for this loop? I'll be on a 250cc with only a couple of gallons of fossil fuel in the stock tank.

Thanks, Stu. BTW, were you at Noobs Rally this year? I think I met you at the gas station across the street from the campground. White Tiger with a yellow riding jacket?

I'm in. Looking forward to it!

Anyone interested in a RALLY ROUTE?
I could prepare a very fun rally route loop, Dakar roadbook style. About 150 miles. Lunch and gas stop in the middle. Big-bike friendly, so long as you can ride in some sand and rocks. You'll need a roadbook reader and the usual rally navigation equipment. Check out www.rallynavigator.com. (Or, I can prepare GPS tracks, but that takes a lot of the fun out of it.)
Let me know! And, which day is best for this.
