Or you can take some fun dirt out the back side of Red Rock, through Rocky Gap, up to Mountain Springs Saloon, then a quick drop south on 160, take more dirt out to The Pioneer Saloon, the. Back to Pahrump via Sherries....

Do the stretch from 160 to Goodsprings before Saturday, the friggin SxS on the weekend are out of control on that stretch. Almost got taken out going to the race in Oct. and again at Pahrump rally. Both on Saturday. Nice ride, just keep your head on a swivel.

Go further out and go early to beat them to the trails. Everything near The Pioneer will have the awful SXS chop and lots of knucklheads driving them.

i received our confirmation from the Town of Pahrump that everything is paid and we are good to go!

just need the campfire permit from the Fire Department. it's just walking distance from camp.

i have about 8 bundles of firewood and will be happy to donate them if someone can pick them up from my house.

we'll finalize the catered dinner by end of September. just need a headcount and volunteers to help serve.

Red Sky BBQ have been feeding us for the last 3 years. they are local and make the best $20 dinner in Pahrump.

Primm has its qualities for some gambling. You have Whiskey Petes which has a checkered past of a light for every fortune lost, the nicer Prima Donna and the funner Buffalo Bills with the rollie coaster. I'm done with gambling on my side but there's something very authentic about playing blackjack at the Whiskey. Those pit bosses look like they would be a scene right out of a Pesci's Casino.

I would be interested, but not sure if I'll have a roadbook reader mounted on my 701 by then. If you have GPS tracks, I can always act as a sweep if needed.

Anyone bringing their new 790 Adventure S? I saw a couple of 790R on the in list. @Migolito is yours an R version? I'm on the market for the S version, R is too tall for me.

Here's a few sample pages to show what I'm talking about. These can be configured and printed as a wide rally roadbook or narrow enduro roadbook. RallyNavigator can also set you up to have it display as a roadbook on your phone or tablet. Or, I can share the route as a gpx file, which takes much of the fun and challenge out of it. We could have a sweep, but we should not have a leader, so that everyone can try to navigate on their own.
    fun fun

I'm gonna try to convince you to try navigating by roadbook. You could even print out and tape the roadbook pages to your tank and tear them off as you go. (put them in your pocket, don't litter). Every tulip has the gps coordinates in the lower right corner, so if you get mixed up, you can use a GPS to get you back on the route.
    No paying!
