I was there a week before the event and saw Cows. We did not hit them and my sympathies to those that did.

How? The roads seemed pretty wide.

Doesn't matter at night. Sky's black, cows are black, road's black. Happened last year.

    Zak,

If you need to straighten it out, come by my place sometime, I've got the perfect set of tools.

Thanks to everybody for a great time at WMRS 2009. :clap

When Baja Ho proposed to me he promised he would always keep me in the "lap of luxury". I had no idea he meant this! LOL

to see this just before Cajon Pass. must have been going to Ft. Irwin.

So, I finally get on the 395 out of Victorville & feel the heat of the Mojave- wasn't that bad as long as you kept moving.

    Is that precip up ahead???

Yep! it sure is! Soo now, I'm in the Owens Valley, starting to sloowly climb in elevation- seems like i haven't really left the heat of the Mojave behind me.

holding indicated 80mph, which is 73mph on my gps. this is with one less tooth on the front sprocket. Engine was pretty whiney... but it held that velocity when i wanted it to. :D

Next day, JoefromSF had to deal with his slow air leak in the front tire. He just put a tube in it.
