74C5 and I headed out Friday afternoon, but our "ride" ended at the intersection of 89 and 395 with a blown tranny in the tow vehicle at around 5:15PM.
As close as we'd get to WMRS....

Tow truck making final hook ups around 8:00PM

Prepping to take off to meet the tow truck in Gardnerville...

We bombed back to EDH about 10:00PM after a quick bite at BK....

The rescue mission on Saturday morning...enjoying a refreshment before heading to South Shore for lunch...

I hope that everyone had a great time at WMRS, maybe we'll make it next time....

I'm home. The sand kicked my ass royally and the KLR developed a serious case of high altitude narcolepsy :muutt

Besides the sand, I rode some awesome trails and had a great time. Next year I'll make it all the way to the top of WMRS for sure!

Caged it up this yr. Interesting up at the top. Hiked halfway to White Mtn. Thin air up there as most of ya know. Good to see the number of bikes. Next yr if schedule and time allow we may come on up and ride around some.

Wife asked a lot of questions like, "How come most of these guys are sitting down". Have her programmed that when on the dirt, stand up to control the bike better so she was interested in why so many squatters. She also noticed and commented that the guys standing were able to maintain more speed and control of the bike through the loose stuff that was on the trail.

We saw one dude sleeping under a tree at the turn off of the 168 yo WMRS. Should of snapped a picture of that.

So, who knows what is up with the bearded lady that was up there?
