James, I want to thank Kim, John and yourself for the hospitality of showing Julie and I some of your trails, just sorry it was short lived because we were so bloody tired (95 miles in dirt is a long way for old people).:muutt

Already making plans for next year so we'll keep in touch. Good luck with the club.

Will post my RR on the pic thread soon as I get a few minutes.

As it should! Not to go in a crazy direction, but I don't see why this can't be considered like WARPED as well. Food for thought. And I am officially throwing my name in when we move back to work on organization (hopefully with some help from Stonewall).

That is how much this ride means to me, and is how upset I am that I couldn't be there this year.

Anywhere from a little over 6 months to a couple years... :cry

Really, don't be in a hurry to come ride Europe. All the Germans and others I met think I'm nuts for leaving CA...

Damn another year missed by me!!!!! Stupid family visiting at all the wrong times. I did however drive the cage up to wmrs. On the way up I was lucky enough to see some minor carnage as an xr dove in to the rocks on the side of the road......no pics taken glad you were all right. I saw about 30 bikes at the top all I could do was hang my head in shame.......
Maybe next year I can make it................

Oh and the guy on 06 klr from L.A. I saw at Jack's Waffle House and the wmrs. I'm still glad your not affiliated with these guys it sure would be a lot of encouragement for trouble:rofl :rofl :rofl

    Thanks Sally,

I will be posting up next years 7th Annual WMRS shortly. I have found a location on the north edge of Bishop, very close to the entrance / exit to Coyote Flats :evil that can handle tents and RV's. This location has lots of shade, Bishop Creek runs thru it, a full bar, and a complete kitchen with two huge BBQ's. We can feed our selves or have it cattired. All day shade covered setting for 108 Inmates ( wooden picnick tables, no burning :nono ) and restrooms . We are still working out the details, but it will make a better location for all. Also, the area will be closed to only Inmates and our guest. I will be working with the local Chamber to try and get the open house moved to Saturday. This would make it easier for people to ride to the top and leave on Sunday. plus the town could step in and market the event to help fill hotel rooms.

Not to worry, if I need some help I'll let you know.
