I may have missed it in this thread.....but there is an UBM made for the KTM 640. Go to Emig Racing on line.

Yes, potatoho, your post on ktmtalk.com is where I found out about emigracing.com. I called Gary just a few minutes ago and ordered everything, should be here in a few days. I'll post pics upon installation. And yes, I went ORANGE!

Sorry, but I cheaped out and will be using the mounts and damper with my stock triple clamp. It will still give me a woody.

Cool! Do you have oversized bars? I got some from emig as well.

I went out riding today to the sandy area that totally kicked my pre-stabilized butt. I only fell one time!! I was first gearing over a sand berm to follow another trail and I just sorta washed out. But I'm happy to say that I was able to follow all of the sand trails at my own pace. Even avoiding the mud puddles that my prior ride forced me through, as a consequence of the death grip I had to use.

The stabilizer is great. The only stuff which still requires concentration is the really beachy sand with ruts in it. If I hit it wrong I would feel the front wash just a little, but it never made me fall down or put a leg down. I was riding with 25psi in the front and rear :-) These are maxxis 6006 tires. Didn't like the stockers for sand at all.

The holes aren't compatible between the emig stabilizer and the scotts. There's some kind of patent issue I believe. I think you can get the emig setup for a scotts, not sure.

I just took some more pictures of my emig setup on the LC4.

Emig stabilizer plus OEM triple clamp kit, assembled on my table:

640 Adventures come with Magura fatbars as standard, so I saved a few bucks there. Ahh, sand riding. I used to live in Orlando and rode in the Ocala forest all the time. I think the Adv would be OK if you were careful, but I remember seeing lots of BMW GS's stuck in the sandy pipeline trails at the Alligator dual sport years ago...

Thanks for sharing, P-hoe. Good to see you over here. Seems to be more LC4 stuff happening on this side these days. Your roller bearing pics were a huge help.

    Cheers, its Friday!

well guys... i have kinda put mine on lay-away as emig already makes one... and their price is exactly what i guessed mine would cost. kinda makes shipping from this country a little difficult (read: costly) for you guys.

if i get 15 guys interested though... i will do a production run.

I'm not aware that emig makes a scotts setup for OEM LC4. My setup is using emig's stabilizer.

Yea still here but not for long, sold the real estate and will be gone by 15 April, still trying to work out a deal to sell the inventory in it's entirety. Looks like I might be going to Ennis[just over the hill] Will keep in touch.

Are you getting a New 640 Adv ??? When you do I'll give you all the info on what I did to mine. Will have to hook up and do some dirt. One of the last thing I want to do to mine yet is the sterring stabilizer.

    Keep in touch

If you do I'll take one. That's one down and 14 to go.
Let me know what you want from me, deposit wise, if it gets that far.

    Thanks
