Regarding 58302094000 decomp cable. Did you get one? It fits, right?
I'm working on learning how to post an image on this forum......so please excuse me if ths doesn't work, but here's the ER UBM set up on an '05 Adv. There were a few issues getting this installed. If you are interested send me a PM.
That's their top clamp too?
Yes, thanks again, it was significantly longer and fit perfectly. Shortly after mounting it, Jamie from NC became the proud new owner of my Adv. Yes, I have seller's remorse.
how much higher than stock is thems that bars?
Well, they have a different bend so when held next to the stock bars one can't make an exact comparison, but about an inch, mas o menos.
Pastrana FMX? Can't quite squint hard enough to see in the photo. Top clamp is a moot point for me, (WP 5060), but the no-weld arrangement looks good for you 4860 guys. Cuanto vale? (If I can be so bold as to ask.)
Colin, when are you going to kick Creep out o' bed and get started on your UBD setup?
They are ProTaper Pastrana Free Style bars. I think they were about 80 bucks or so from Cyclezone
And you should! This is the cleanest used dual sport bike I've ever seen. I think I'm gonna like it.
I rerouted my decompression cable and did not have any problems.
The whole install is not as easy as "just bolt it on"
man that looks purty with the black damper
It didnt come in (Boise) and I found (thru here) the one in Seattle area and I am going to pick that one up this weekend
Soo come Monday I will be riding something new to work
ohhh I cant wait!
So shiny and new! I would like to see a pic of the filler neck with gas cap removed, when you get a chance.
Thanks, and enjoy you new beast!
here ya go!
Thanks. It looks nice and streamilined compared to the old style, but there are pros and cons to both. Beautiful bike you have there!
dat gas filler the same one as they've had on the lc4 since '01? looks like it... nice
