I picked up a 66 B105P two weeks ago out of a barn. After cleaning the 1/2" of dust off of the bike, cleaning the carb and rewiring the whole thing - a mouse ate most of the wiring- it fired up and runs through the gears just fine. The only problem now is it appears as though the grip may not be original. The end of the throttle cable has threads on it, the grip just has a hole with no threads, and no sign of threads ever being there.

Most of the photos I've found show the cable coming off the bottom of the grip, this one attaches to the top, water drain hole on the bottom.

    Thanks for any ideas
