690 Rally Replica questions...

I think I'm right in saying this but please check . You could possible just swap over the gear selector switch . As far as I know the is only one wire that is needed to go to the dashboard /idiot lights

The pulse coil works with the rally rotor but you need to get some feeler gauges and adjust the gap

Would you know by any change if the bolt for the rear oil feed to the oilcooler is long enough to have oil going through it? The 690RFR bolt fits, but I don't know if oil will flow through it or not when used on the 690E engine. How would I test? Just blow through?

Parts fishe is the best bet. Isn't the different bolt installed to divert the oil flow to the cooler ?

It is, so should be fine, just want to double check. Will check fiches and see.

If your putiing a oil cooler on a 690e/r engine useing rfr cooler/ lines etc etc it will require part no 7623804800 lock piece (no 18 in engine cases section of parts book)

Having just completed my KIT690 and living and riding in Arizona, adding an oil cooler is
at the top of my to do list. So I'm interested in all the intricacies of your project .
mrwwwhite the creator of the KIT690 is working on a combo radiator/oil cooler kit to fit
his KIT690.
Not quite the same as your install but the connections and plumbing should be the same.

Waiting for the parts took ages as some plastic was funnily enough out of stock.. Updating the 690cc engine to accept an oilcooler feed was easy;

Hardest ofcourse was getting access but easy enough once the shock was out, a true 3 minute job.

Does anyone know part number for 6 washers (cupped) for the rfr front gaurd?,got number for bolts 59001092050 but parts book doesnt show the washers.

Best ask Lyndon, he makes them I think...
