'73 Honda almost done!

    Well the carbs are rebuilt, the paint is done, the rear bearings are new, put in a new battery, cleaned her up a bunch, and coated the inside of the rusty tank (I used the caswell system, thanks to all who chimed in with recdomendations, the Caswell systaem was extremely easy and looks like a great finished product- time will tell). I'll fire her up tonight and see if the floats are adjusted right.

    Now two new tank emblems! I have the old ones but they look crappy.

    new bike-$300, new paint $35, carb valves-$100, new air filter etc. $50. Not to bad.

    Someone here has an ad in the local paper for a "1972 Vintage Honda 500 4 cyl., runs well, blue. $1000". He seems pretty proud of it at that asking price, but they are still available out there.
