Just curious here about whether the bike puts off much heat at all or not. This was mentioned very early in the thread but not much of anything since then. Would especially love some input here from those who own or have owned the bigger bore bikes. Thanks.

Remove the cat, all heat problems solved (which in my experience were not significant aside from the ultra-furnace itself).

Just back from my third Aussie outback trip, so I did a 32,000km review on my MST kitted 790.

Anyone here tried a sumo setup on a 790? I searched the thread and can’t find much. I suspect Duke rims/wheels would bolt up with some spacer mods. Maybe.

[/ QUOTE]

For me your bike is simply the most well sorted and set up 790 I have seen. Amazing attention to functional detail and a complete de lawyering and de accountanting of the 790...
The way the designers envisioned the platform....good on ya....

Here is what is still coming as you know.... subframe....airbox...new tune....new velocity stacks...new subframe....new triples....

bikes should be really close to what we want just in time to sell them and buy a 901 Super Enduro....hahahaha

TET and ACT Italy was planned for June but I had to cancel due to Covid.

How do you manage to ride the TET and back without luggage?? I noticed on your photos that you only carry a small tail bag.

We carried our bikes (2x 790R) from Germany to Italy via Transporter.
Our trip was for the Transitalia Marathon, but we did one day of TET Italy for a little warmup run ;)
