What tailbag is that? Older Wolfman?
Yep, Wolfman wolf tail bag.
Clean and up a little early for winter mods. sad trombone sound.
They do look better without their clothes don't they, SE comes to mind
You need a summer home.... hahahaa
hah, I’d rather maintain loads more motorcycles than another house.
You need a girlfriend with a house South of the snow....
Nope, nope and no.
What I need is parts to arrive, and a couple more piles of cash!
Just got mine yesterday. Rode the T7, it was dull!
Can’t wait to get some miles on it over the winter.
Did a couple of hundred miles on the bike today. The suspension seems quite firm, so I need to have a play with the settings. And the Karoo 3’s combined with greasy wet roads are not a good combination, as I found out a couple of times!
Yep it’s a little on the firm side. I have the rear compression 1 turn from full soft In the rear, the front I actually stiffened a bit I think my clickers are at 12 on compression and rebound. It will soften some after a few good trail rides though and be patient with the seat I actually like mine now after 1500 miles .
We adjusted this one about 3 clicks from the softest:
Or are you talking about adjusting this:
Humour me please, as I’m used to electronic suspension!
I’m a bit pissed that after buying a new bike, KTM have decided not to print the owners manual any more. That’s taking the bloody piss.
Way to clean at start of NM BDR and then breakfast in a Natl Park to warm up...
great paint scheme on your 790!
The first picture that you posted I have set at 17 clicks so right between standard and comfort. The second pic of the preload adjuster I turned all the way out and then one full turn in. Then on the opposite side of the rear shock I have the rebound set at 17 clicks out. are you saying you did not receive a owners manual with your bike?
OK, cool I’ll try that. So is this the pic for the final adjustment you mention, 17 clicks out?
And yeah, no manual included with new bikes from now on with KTM. These damned accountants make decisions which are completely unreasonable. How the hell are you meant to print the whole manual off, then carry that on the bike? As this is the sort of bike that will be ridden in places with no phone signal, what the hell are these idiots thinking when they make decisions like this?
that we live in 2020 and everyone carries at least 1 smartphone (along with power bank, etc.)
and that a PDF file opens without the need of internet connection
So, if you had the printed manual by KTM, would you carry it all the time on the bike?
I have the complete repair manual on my phone, I always forget to carry my reading glasses so trying to zoom in on the phone must look pretty amusing to anyone watching me.
