Pffft , we need to see the air filter after shot.
And I am an impatient idiot as always
New air box
All at the same time
Bike has never run better though
Mpgs still an issue at 37 mpg but with 15 47 gearing and lots of sand... on pavement you can feel the clutch grab quicker..back tire breaks loose easier on tarmac...
I suck at wheelies but I was able to clutch it up in 3rd and shift to 4th.. Power band is more predictable
37mpg!? Sheeeet! Let us know what mpg you get on hard terrain... That sand looks very dry and soft (bet it was a hoot!).
Almost back together!
Gas tank repaired.
Test run and no leaks.
Lots to do yet but it's coming along. Once all the maintenance is finished I'm going to let it take a long winter's nap.
Crossed 10k miles on my bike this past weekend since last July... I didn't just leave it there... Mojave Trail. I am not good in sand...
Somewhere around here maybe? https://goo.gl/maps/mtseB3Czj1uGz7Jw8
Beautiful area man..!
I can't find my teleport button.... Damn!
That last one looks like maybe ya slid off the main trail.
Looks like fun ride’n btw.
He's a "brave little toaster" with those tires...
Nice bags......now about those reflectors....
He is just being stubborn and he also knows it annoys me....I'll pop them off on the next ride..
Bikes looking great Steve. You made my just finally pull the trigger on the reckless 10 for day rides.
I feel like the extra weight really helps with the bike's stability. Of the reflectors that is.
looks nice- is that a 21 front wheel ? how do you like those tires? dunlop what model?
yes 21 front wheel. Those tires are trailmax meridian, excellent grip on wet, dry, rough, small paved roads and correct for soft offroad on rolling tracks. (I don't have the opportunity to ride off-road at the moment) but soon..
