neighbours weren't happy when I started it up! Just couldn't resist.
That green is badass.
@jimbop that is killah! I wondered how a low key, mossy green might look. I was afraid it would come off like a carrot, but you nailed it. Love it!
Good info, thanks. Agree about Kamchatka
Nice. Its got the Norden topo thing goin'. Really have high hopes for that bike.
Question being 5'6 myself. How much are you taking out of the spring? Doesn't it bring the suspension down to the standard?
I'm going 1" lower with the springs. George (Suspension 101) will re-work the Forks and the Shock as he has proven to be able to make them much better then stock. The final outcome should cut approx 2 1/2 inches from Stock 890R stance.
TT, it matched my Sprinter Van now so for big adventure I can use the Mother ship and keep my partner happy. I'm hoping to do Baja in November.
Getting closer to spring and summer - can't wait.
Well I have a VIN number and a crate with my name on it. Getting closer to being an 890R owner.
Nice! Are you in Nelson? A long weekend or two in the Koots has been a yearly tradition for the wife and I. For ages on the GS, and for the past 2 years in her hot rod little convertible. Got smoked out of Nelson last year. Looking to exploring some of the more off the beaten path attractions of the area on the 890.
Nice, almost looks like a Super Enduro :)
Yup, Nelson it is. Not hard to find a road, path or a mountain to climb.
Nothing fancy but getting it broken in
Yeah that green looks seriously good.
Ok, how many other Northerners zoomed in on that Baja shot to confirm those white bits in the foreground weren't ice or snow?!
