    Dammmm..

Crazy, from this distance it almost looks like a natural rock formation. Then you zoom in and kinda looks like huge quarried blocks covered in concrete. Enjoy the ride KC. Wheels on the ground, and all that :-)

I think it was the size of the embedded blocks that made the concrete weak, leading to the disaster. As a result, PA passed laws requiring minimum safety design practices when building a dam.

My 890R had the same exact coolant leak/cause.

Not even 3 feet out of the garage, and he's in the weeds already? :D Seriously though, nice resurrection bud!

@chippertheripper , did you have to buy longer brake lines with your new suspension?

no. The stock lines just fit fully extended. I did have to spin one of the elbows on the caliper a couple degrees from the way it was assembled in Austria to make sure everything was hunky “dory” (there’s a boat referenced or ya).
I’m grateful this “in depth maintenance period” wasn’t longer and more costly.
And of course to dand and bhoward for the lift and some cast off parts.

There is just something perfect about those A-60s.... wish they made a 2.5" rear....

you know what's perfect about them? They're unlikely to fold in half under a 450lb machine in the woods.
The takasago is "good enough" out back, there's plenty of volume there.

Can the sub-frame fuel cell from Rottweiler be run without the main tank installed? It would be interesting to design any adjunct components (pump etc) needed to do so.

That would lighten things up a bit for playing in the rocks. :D

    Niiiice.

Is that a take down rod?

Or is that a joke - like a paper map in a tube mounted up where you'd normally find a GPS? :photog

What's the difference between the 690 smr front fender and the stock 790 adv R fender?

It's a great looking bike, I love the look of the Rade screen, it didn't work for me unfortunately as I got terrible buffeting.
    Hope it works for you.

Ufortunately the wind protection of it is similar or even worse than the standard screen. Considering changing back until my decision of going for a rally tower is settled.
