The 20 year old in me wants to tear it up...but the 63 year old body says don't do it!

I felt likewise. I even had a 5:1 ratio rope block and tackle self rescue rig on board with me but found myself with little desire to have to break it out and I am certain I would have had to. ;)

This part was especially fun at 100* or so. This is the bottom of a steep powerline maintenance road-to-nowhere near pyramid lake.

@Nowwhat I'll add that one to the shopping list, looks good. Loose climbs are the only weakness of this bike for me, it's happy everywhere else

Smoke from forest fires slowly wafting Westward. Made for an eerie loop, starting in the lowlands...

Mounted my last set of on the shelf new rubber on the bike Saturday morning. The only good news is that before these are done my front rotor will be toast anyway and the replacement has been on order since mid April. Folks will have to go back to work eventually I reckon.

Hit a birch at high speed in the mud and found the bottom of a cliff in seconds .. good times in Colorado.

Should have paid attention to the Road Closed sign. :)

Ouch. On the bright side the bike didn't follow you down the hill. That would have had you gasping for air for awhile at altitude.
