    Custom plate. Made it myself.

I don't have good pics of it, but here is an other one from the front:

I'm giving the low rally fender a try. I like the look.

Personally on a bike with a rally fairing, the low fender always works better aesthetically. Normally I would not feel so, but with the rally fairing (of any type I think) there is a perfect balance struck.

I like it, didn't think I would but I do. It's funny, on the T7 I hate the low fender and would replace it with a high fender.

I agree, the tower is what makes it work, with the standard setup the high fender wins.

@Yellow Pig have you thought of front white plastics? It's white would pull your fairing and the rear plastics together perfectly. Visualize below .. all white plastics, with bl/or graphics.

I kind of like the contrast. Your way would be too much white for me, plus white is a pain to keep clean.

Perun makes perfect ones for their 690 plate; I asked him about making similar ones for the 790/890 plate but for some reason he didn't think it would be a big mover. Perhaps if some more people requested them, he might put then on the drawing board. I really, really like them on my 690.

I think YP's plate looks a lot like the Aurora plate I just migrated to, which I believe is Gen3. Kind of moves everything up to make room for switches at the bottom (and increased clearance to handlebars and bark busters) and moves the TFT kind of up and out to make more room to pile wiring under. I didn't think to take a picture of it before mounting, but I can take a few pictures from different angles if you're trying to see how it fits. I can of course take naked pictures of the Gen2 plate if you want.

Thanks for the advice SSD. A few more pics of the Gen3 plate would be great. I might then reach out to
@640 Armageddon / Aurora for an upgrade. I reckon I already have the Gen2 plate(?) which I couldn’t make work with my Scott’s (TCM mount), Barkbusters setup…

My homemade ‘Frankenstein’ plate(s) is serving me well, but in the event of the inevitable, it would be good to have a ‘swap-able’ replacement at hand rather than have to re-fabricate my custom plate(s).

It’d be great to see a photo record of all the Gen (Aurora) plates to date for the 7/890 kits for a visual comparison… :brow

So, what have I actually got here?

The white plate came with my original kit which I couldn’t make work with my own specific hardware and handlebar setup.
The black plate was received a while back from our local Aurora Rep out of the blue (Thanks Aurora & Scott)?

    Lovely parts nevertheless!
