Weird, I don’t ever remember going to Melbourne, let alone having my picture taken there.
Grab handles for 790/890?
I'll pay now, just tell me how!!!
It's still kicking despite the abuse over the last two days...
Like two plastic ones under the rack….
Rode some more of FT157 past this point but it got way above my skills/comfort (approximately here) so I turned around. Some awesome peeps Nick and Chris were riding with me and helping but I didn’t want to mess up the rest of their ride so I turned around (which was fun) and went down FT177.
Those suck and like to break. Go to the Perun website and look at his grab handles for his 690 rack and report back.
great pics- where is that ?
SW VA. Most of these are from Iron Moutain Trail near Damascus VA. A few from Hogback Ridge west of Bland VA.
Just realized I didn't include any from Potts Mountain Jeep Trail. It got above my skill level on a big bike when I got to the rock garden shown below at the top of the mountain and I turned back. Man's gotta know his limits and trying to send it thru the rock garden felt like a recipe for a really bad day for me or the bike, or both. Lol
Not only do the stock ones inherently suck, but their position sucks too. @Yellow Pig has the right idea for certain. Knowing how well @Perun goes through the R&D process, he'll have them dialed in and able to tie in perfectly for use in conjunction with the Luggage Rails.
They have these wonderful inventions to help with that pesky deadfall.
Your reminder sticker is great, and exactly what I tell my daughter routinely while learning how to ride her bike. I definitely need to steal that idea.
Strong riding as always, and putting that machine to work!
more great pics and yeah, knowing when to stop is smart
Ill be down SW VA next weekend running Shenadoah 500 Sat and Sun and I think Monday doing Section 3 of BDR.
I’ve been saying prerun for 2+ years already. What a moran…
I blame auto correct. :)
Definitely all my brain, or lack thereof.
Another beautiful day in Alberta northwest of Calgary
Did section 3 of the COBDR as an overnighter for my last camping trip this season. Lots of fast fun dirt. Did have a little drama with a front flat that completely unseated the bead and wanted to be difficult, but that's why we call it adventure.
That top photo is stunning. What trail is that?
