    Testing the Mitas E-09 Dakar.

The front tire looks a bit narrow but I'm really impressed so far.

Yes, those are the wheels the bike came with.
I would like to try out the Heavy Duty's or whatever other narrower wheel on a different bike before thinking about a purchase since they are so pricey.
Looking forward to next year's KTM Adventure Rally Europe.

If they do a proper one next year I'd likely go along. This years was only 3 days vs 5 days in Aus and NZ. So far they've only released 4 mins of footage. I'm not sure we're going to get full hour long videos like we did for the Aus and previously NZ rallies. I'm guessing the whole affair was dumbed down for Europe.

I spent all morning roaming around doing nothing. It was everything I thought it could be.

School bus of anaphylactic children meets Freddy Krueger? God, with that dripping red rust looking like blood, there has to be an urban myth floating around...yikes!

Great day for a relaxing easy gravel ride in Susquehanna County Pa. Trees and weather were beautiful.

80+ miles of gravel grinding this morning topped off with a nice coffee and muffin. Wicked crosswinds out there as the front blew in but my was it pretty out.

It gets significantly better once you start shoveling money at it too. Enjoy.

Heck, I've already started on that. :lol3 But, for the most part this bike has almost everything I wanted out of the box.
