Spent the day poking around in WV coal country. Lots and lots of obscure mountain roads.
Would be interesting to know more of that lightweight build please
I purchased bike as a salvage title from a buddy. He hit a tree, Stock headlight and screen smashed.
I moved all wiring under the fuel tank and hooked up my 450 light on ACC2.
Was an extended test ride to make sure all was well with the bike.
Here is what it looks like now. Still waiting on lots of parts!
You sure did a really good job on the bike, looking great
I hope your buddy is ok, and that he got a new Rally so he won't envy you to much now when he sees it...
Ride safe and furious
I bet the insurance adjuster had a hell of a time finding two used Rally's to base his appraisal on.
Nice work, how is the Rade tower and screen? Any buffeting?
s’pose a new front rim too eh?
Well no screens at this point! Still waiting for stock screen holder to mount it up. Probably go with Zumo Xt for GPS...or wait for Samsung Tab3. Buffeting seems okay but I never rode it with stock setup.
Nope. Giant crescent wrench got it straight enough for me. Lots of practice on stock 990 rims
Nice view to the ground!
Damn you got both a Rally and Superpowers...
How was the fitment of the trade tower/screen? There seem to be some quality control issues with other brands, I certainly had little nuances with my 1090 screen.
Added some graphics
Yeah.... I'm gonna need those GPX's please.. especially where the hell that bridge is! love it!
A few more in “daylight”
Just got back yesterday and I'm working on a ride report and video over the next few days. I was running the Tour De Coalfields route. The bridge in the photo is in the NW section of it but didn't grab the specific lat/long while there.
I got the GPX files from: https://www.adventurehorizons.com/tour-de-coalfields.html
I really like those designs. Where did you buy them?
Top quality, Motoproworks!
This looks amazing! Thank you thank you!
