I said it before, and I repeat it here: I don't need money. The FAQ costs are a grand total of ~€20/year for the domain. That's it. The hosting is free, thanks to my wife's business: she is renting a small server for her online presence and I just started a new vhost on it. It cost nothing additional. And before you ask I'm not putting a link to my wife's website either, you crazies are capable of buying all her stock :)

Everything important is not money in this world. Most of the FAQ cost is my time, I'm glad to contribute.

If you really want to do something to thank me, do something for the environment instead: Clean up some patch of land, plant a tree, support your local sustained agriculture…

I haven't added it in the skid plate section as it is really an extension of their crash bars (which are already listed), you can't mount this skid plate without the bars. I mentioned it next to the crash bars which were already listed on that page.

    Centerstand is added, thanks.

    Hi @[Art],

Would you be so kind as to update our entries on your site for our skid plate (now that the first batch has been produced and sold out) as well as our rear rack and anything else you might find helpful to the community? All our 790 specific products can be found here.

Thanks for putting together and maintaining the FAQ!

the standard R seats sits lower
than the 2 piece stand adv in the high position,

found that out the other day when I took the R out for a demo after riding the standard adv for a couple of weeks

I've updated the seat article with all the height. What make you believe it is lower is because it is narrower.

As always, if there is a mistake anywhere, let me know. @BlackDogCycleWorks, I finally updated the pic and paragraph about your bash plate.

    October 27 2019
    • Updated centerstand with more details about the TrailStar gadget.
    • Updated bash plates.
    • Added BDCW rear rack.
    • Fixed an error about the non-compatibility of levers from the duke 790.
    • Completely revamped the seats article with the seat height of all KTM options on both models.

    i noticed two things

    1
the knee angle as a lot tighter on the R

    2
I was sitting more in the bike
Also noticed that my arms were higher to reach the bars

I even asked the salesman if the R seat was the lower power parts seat.

Thanks @[Art]! Looks great. For our skid plate we also added an option to marry it with the Touratech crashbars. When you are updating the protection page this might be a good addition to our skid plate entry. Here is the link to the adapter kit on our site.

Thanks again for the building and curating the FAQ!

Right. Crisis time. The FAQ web site has been pwn3d… My apologies if you encounter fake survey, end up on weird sites, or can't access the FAQ when going to https://790adventure.net. All the data is still there, in a backup (I'm not that stupid), but I need to beef up my security before restarting the site clean. I've done a quick cleanup, but it's probably insufficient. If you are redirected to something weird, just reload, the hackers are presenting the shit to only new visitors… Or just don't go to it until I give the all clear here.

Bear with me for a few days while I do this. I have a real job™ that is using a lot of my time, but I need a few evening to revamp the way I manage the site to get to the state I want it to be (aka, one click to reset the site to a known state).

    F**&$# spammers.
