    My only complaint is...

Why is this sub called 790/890 when there’s no such thing as an 890 and there doesn’t appear to be one on the near horizon?

There’s definitely an 890 on the horizon. Duke first, it appears.

All I’ve seen is one forum thread where someone guessed that KTM might make one eventually.

I’m not in charge of subs so I can’t help you with that.

So... why is this forum named after a bike that doesn’t exist again?

(Either way, this is my last post on this subject because this argument is dumb)

I worked for Steve Jobs for years and we got letters like this continuously. “Think different? What the fuck? YOU DO NOT SELL THINKING. You sell computers. You should say you sell computers unless you like confusing people and making them hate you.”

And yet Apple became the world’s most valuable company.

Like Steve, my conviction in human emotion didn’t come from surveys. It comes from a lifetime of hanging out with riders.

Dang, I'd love to have this Sub-Forum called "Parallel Universe",
THAT's where we fit and future 890/490 whatever will ;)

Do you think you're the only one with a lifetime of hanging out with riders? I still say the silly section titles are not the deal-breaking aspect that would prevent or cause anyone interested in discussing motorcycles to frequent this site.

Regardless, I already explained that providing a logically consistent drill-down and providing users the necessary ability to create DISCUSSIONs within each bike-specific space--just as they now can in the 790 space--does not require your giving up that bit of soft-humor editorializing that you consider so crucial.

I don't know (or really care) what you did for Steve Jobs, but I'll dare say it was not the Macintosh Finder UI. ;-)

Your wish is my command, but there already is a Parallel Universe sub under GSpot. Will that be confusing?

I wasn't involved in the original Finder UI, but was in the current version.

    First: Thank you! :thumb

That GSpot sub is a good point, never been there, so did not know (ha!).
"Parallel World" would kinda separate and also sound cool/Matrix, right? :D

Yes. When I'm researching, I don't want to waste time looking threw BMW or Yamaha information.
