I will driving up from Temecula
I'm thinking about checking this out.
If I do, I will be riding out from Riverside. Either that or truck it to Flagstaff / Mesquite and ride in from there.
The 15 freeway sucks, and it sucks with the force of a Dyson factory on a KLR.
I heard there's a plan to get the biggest group of KLRs together in one place?
My '99 has been to Utah a few times already, it's on my lift waiting for a carb cleaning and general service, I'd be happy to be a part of the KLR effort.
First time I rode to Moab was for the KLR Owner's group get-together in 1999, organized through the old Yahoo groups Dual Sport News group.
Any members of DSN_KLR650 on here, I wonder?
You can leave a truck/trailer at the Virgin River Casino in Mesquite. As long as you're out back and out of the way they don't care - they don't even know you're not there at the casino.
Stu's coming. Ok, I'm out.
Thinking I'll make it this year. Might trailer both bikes and make it a game day decision what to ride.
Hi CA Stu, I hope that you can make it! It is my goal to have the largest group of KLRs ever assembled. I have submitted for the record, still waiting on a response. FYI, I have been putting rides together after work every wednesday in Wildomar. You should join us some time.
What 2 bikes are you bringing?
Should be my 2016 KLR and a 2005 WR250f
You will have fun on both, especially if you can stick around til Monday or Tuesday. EVERIDE will be taking those interested on a Dual Sport Ride at his AFTER RALLY.
I will expect to see the Wanderlodge...
That's mostly why I'm bringing the WR250f. The after rally looks more fun on the small bike.
I'm a fan of EVERIDE, so I think it's cool he's coming. But what's this "AFTER RALLY"?
Well it depends. If the boss decides she wants to come, that means the little monsters (bi and quadra ped) will as well, which means the bus will be there. If not, I'll just do the Jeep and roof top tent with the 450 most likely. I'd bring Lucifer bike but I tore it up enough at Death Valley to warrant giving it a break. Plus, the little bike is perfect for learning terrain and as I'm opposed to trailering a big bike, only one will be on the docket (unless the boss decides she wants to ride). The tour bus is really reserved for full on family action as it is a bit silly to bring her out if it's just me.
Anyone from New Mexico planning to travel out for this? Sounds awesome!
I'm planning to travel through New Mexico from the Texas panhandle.
I hope that you all can make it!!
This break down should be listed on the registration webpage.
I'm in for this one and will be coming from SF.
Someone who's been before - The dates are Oct 5-8. Are the group rides Th-Fri-Sat or Fri-Sat-Sun? Trying to plan my arrival and departure days.
