Thanks for all your hard work Stonewall. Without reading of the ride in ADV
I would never had known of UC's open house. And this is coming from a
retired UC employee. 38 years in a department that has a lab doing
extensive research at White Mountain, and NO idea that they held an open
house. I missed this year's ride, but will be back.

    Thanks again.

A few of us were up in Mammoth for the Bluesapalooza, and some great riding that weekend,...we didn't camp wih you guys, but choose the Juniper springs resort to be close to the concerts...Nice Place!!!
But 4 of us joined you on Sunday for the WMRS ride....We rode up Silver canyon, and headed east down through wyman canyon....awesome riding, great area....seems there is much to explore up there, even when the WMRS is closed.....I'd like to go back...

here's some pics...wished I took some of the 20+ water crossing in wyman...not deep but fun to traverse the river so many times....

FEW PICS FROM 3 DAYS RIDING IN MAMMOTH...awesome as always!!!

Desert650 can tell it better than i, but what he told me is that when the dam was built by China men, this wall was put up when they built the "road" , yes, that trail used to be a road.
it's all crumbled thru time, but is a great single track.

the length is the length of that video. i didn't edit anything out. the one part i edited was Desert650 getting off his bike to talk to me about the up coming boulder that is really sketchy at around 5:11 on the video.

that area has soooooo many trails that are great!

i have to correct my opening of the video, the campground is called "Browns Campground" but James Desert650 would call it "Browns Town" which i too started to say as well, now i see there is actually a campground in Bishop called "Browns Town". oops.
oh well, i still like to call it Browns Town. :dunno :thumb
