Updated 5/17/21 - The 8th annual Riders for Striders ADV Charity Ride will be held May 22, 2021 at Stoney Lonesome Motorcycle Club near Columbus, Indiana.

Riders for Striders raises money to purchase Strider Bikes for Gigi's Playhouse - A Down Syndrome Achievement Center in Indianapolis. Gigi's uses the Striders to host several learn to bike camps where the students are able to take the Striders home with them for free after the camp. To date we have purchased over 170 Strider bikes!

The route is usually around 200 miles of back roads pavement, as much gravel as we can find, and maybe a little dirt. GPS tracks will be published as the ride approaches, as well as online registration Don't have GPS experience? No problem. Just show up and we will get you with a small group that you can follow.

Friday and Saturday night primitive camping and plenty of room for RVs (no power or hookups) for $5 per night. Lunch is included with your ride. A suggested donation breakfast and dinner will be available Saturday, May 22.

    REGISTRATION IS OPEN at www.ridersforstriders.org
Online Registration will close Thursday, May 20 at Noon. Walk up registration is welcome day of ride. $35 for the ride and lunch. $15 tshirts. Please bring cash.

GPS Tracks are posted at the bottom of this message.

I was toying with the idea of riding my Honda Monkey for this. Think it could keep up? Flat land, no headwind, it'll do about 53. It doesn't look like hardly any of those sections are higher speed sections. How many opportunities will there be for gas stops? It might need one or two. Is the Yoho store one of the stops?

Awesome! I'm really excited for the ride. I went a couple years back near the beginning on a pretty stock CB500X which was sort of OK for the ride, but when I sold it I couldn't come anymore. I remember asking you questions about sidecar'ing with kids, and watching you and your son inspired me to put a Ural car on my Triumph for my daughter. I recently bought a DR650 this year, and this will be my first all day ride with it.
